From Roanoke, VA Route 220 South, turn left at the Exxon-Bojangles-Dairy Queen complex on Route 697. Follow Route 697 to intersection with Route 122. Turn left onto Route 122 and continue for approximately 7 miles. Turn right onto Route 616, and continue approximately 7 miles. Turn left onto Ashmeade Road (Route 940). Route 940 will dead end at Bernard’s Landing. Registration is on the left at the Welcome Center above The Landing Restaurant.

From Richmond / Lynchburg, VA
Route 460 West to Route 122 South at Bedford. Turn left onto Route 122 and drive approximately 25 miles to Route 616. Turn left onto Route 616, and continue approximately 7 miles. Turn left onto Ashmeade Road (Route 940).

From Washington, D.C.
Route 29 South to Lynchburg. Route 460 West to Route 122 South at Bedford. Turn left onto Route 122 and drive approximately 25 miles to Route 616. Turn left onto Route 616, and continue approximately 7 miles. Turn left onto Ashmeade Road (Route 940).

From Greensboro / Winston-Salem /Raleigh, NC
I-40 to 220 North to Rocky Mount, VA. Take Route 40 for approximately 1.5 miles, turn left onto Route 122. Follow 122 for 17 miles. Turn right onto Route 616, and continue approximately 7 miles. Turn left onto Ashmeade Road (Route 940).
